With a background in performing arts, media, and management, building a sports and entertainment media company was more of a passion project than a career for Isha. That quickly shifted when the idea of a podcast network became a reality after months of preparation, dedication, and diligent recruitment of talent.
Before The Hockey Podcast Network, Isha toured parts of British Columbia and Alberta, Canada in his early 20s performing in Blues and Folk bands. After the dream of becoming a rockstar faded, Isha moved back home to Vancouver Island to attend the University of Victoria. There a former Canadian Broadcast Company broadcaster, now a professor, highlighted his talent for broadcasting, and thus a passion for Sports Media was born.
Isha then worked in Radio creating the StickInRink Podcast & Radio Show brand. He also joined the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League as a TV broadcaster, while also writing for SB Nation and local Newspaper covering the sport of Hockey. With careers in media covering hockey in Canada being extremely competitive, Isha and his business partner Dylan Keyzer decided to go against the grain in today's day and age by creating jobs for themselves at The Hockey Podcast Network. In an era that is failing our middle-class and post-University graduates, Isha recognized the value of setting high goals and employed an unmatchable work ethic to achieve them. Now, The Hockey Podcast Network is a legitimate and fast-growing sports media brand Nation wide.

His passion throughout was always centered around sports media which led him to leave his comfortable position to start his passion project.
Our Story
The Hockey Podcast Network provides boutique hockey content and is committed to serving all fans of the sport. From National Hockey League team coverage to Fighting, Lifestyle, Former Player's Stories, European Hockey, and more! With a combined decade of media production, management, and broadcasting, we at THPN know what it takes to provide quality and consistent content to sports fans.
Our managers first came together creating a Podcast that due to popularity was quickly picked up on Radio under a common brand. Producing sports entertainment content on two platforms that respectively serve vastly different audiences in Podcasting and Radio Broadcasting, Dylan Keyzer, and Isha Jahromi learned quickly that they had a talent for hockey talk, and more importantly the worth ethic to grow a brand. Recognizing that a single brand is almost impossible to monetize on a large scale without support, Isha and Dylan combined their performing arts and entrepreneurship backgrounds to created a Podcast Network to collectively elevate brands, boost popularity, and fill the void in North America in a hub for entertaining hockey content.
Isha and Dylan joked that "Only an NHL lockout would sink this ship". They never expected having to face a global pandemic in their first year of operations. Despite the sports world shutting down, Isha and Dylan never gave up and continued to operate, becoming one of the only Networks to push through with consistent hockey content, which further legitimized their brand and paved the way for an expansion of talent. Even with economies crashing, Dylan and Isha still managed to turn a profit.
Today, The Hockey Podcast Network is proudly a part of Amaze Media Labs, and will continue to grow and expand to exciting projects outside of just podcasts.
