Bobby Hull, also known as “The Golden Jet”, is looked at as one of the greatest hockey players of all time. Bobby Hull played 23 seasons in the NHL and oftentimes opposing teams needed to assign someone to contain his greatness.
Hull was born in Pointe Anne, Ontario. He played his minor hockey in Belleville, and then Junior B hockey for the Woodstock Warriors before being drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks at the age of 18. Hull did not take long to become a star, his first season in the NHL he finished second for the Calder Memorial Trophy. By his third season, he led the league in goal and point scoring winning the Art Ross Trophy for the first time in his career. In 1983, Gordie Howe was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame.
